Results of the 2008 Amicalola CBC
On 20 December 2008, twenty-five hardy birders braved the nearly constant rain to count birds in the Amicalola CBC circle. This beautiful area of Dawson and Lumpkin Counties ranges from an elevation of 1200 feet up to 2800 feet at the Amicalola Falls State Park. The unfortunate steady drizzle and downpours didn’t damper our spirits, but did impact our findings for the day. Below is the list of the birds seen and heard, wet or dry, for the day.
